So are the trucks new enough that they are still under manufacturer warranty?
Hopefully yes. Downside being a dealer can be hit or miss on the quality of repair you actually get, or how timely depending on parts availability. Time alone can sink a guy with high enough weekly/monthly truck note..

Then maintenance.
Tires, PM's, brakes, other wear items. Are those on your dime.?

If I'm close in assuming ~70 cents per mile on fuel surcharge, $1.74 per mile is close, within 10/12 cents of my operating cost depending on fuel, but that's paying myself peanuts, barely covering my nut at home.. Any deadhead without the fsc & I'm going in the hole fast..

Also don't like it seems they given you no option for greater earning potential. You know,? Like run this tougher lane get more per mile.. IDK, seems one sided..

Either way I appreciate your answers. Always wondered to myself what exactly is a contract driver that it use to say in your signature line. Now I know.!

 

Even though I won’t be having this problem, do you have to jack up a semi to change the oil? Lol that sob is a little high off the ground ain’t it? I never even owned a pickup so I can’t say myself, but I assume you still do

I always thought it was pretty cool rolling through Maryland around Trenton where Washington crossed the Delaware and led the surprise attack on the Hessian German mercenaries, Valley Forge, among other historic sites, but dear god the traffic in that area is just about as bad as Jersey and the Bronx lol

 

I can put a 5 gal bucket with a small funnel in the top under my oilpan drain, no Jacks or special tools needed……

 

You know I’m actually pretty good when it comes to fixing mechanical problems and doing fluid changes, but you lost me at “in the top” haha the drain plug is up top?! That got my head messed up
