Why would you need a shaved face to pick up a load?

    I remember that thread.

Be like you complaining and wanting more money because you walked next to your trailer when loaded and got #### on by that French Angus Beefmaster Simental cow that had just come off green grass!:D

If that's the case they should mention the need to wear a respirator is required. Not everyone can wear a face covering.

Odds are they don't need a to wear a respirator unless Chtulu wakes up cranky and starts tearing stuff up, but they need to have the ability to out one on.

Many, many years ago I had a load of new totes going to a chemical plant in West Virginia. The trainee I had at the time had a goatee. He had to stay at security while I went a bundles yards away to get unloaded while standing on the dock. Not a respirator in sight, but I was "clean shaven" so I could in theory put one on by running TWOARDS the production floor.

It's idiotic security rules, not an actual safety issue.

With most of these worthless brokers you don't find out important details like that until you show up on site and then they disappear.

Need and chance are different things.

Safety in a chemical plant had small oxygen setups to get office staff out. It's was personal size, small, and had a 10 minute oxygen bottle. In theory the rescue fire team would go the office mask up the office staff and drive them out to the designated safety area. So the had to be clean shaven too. Did it ever happen at an ethanol plant, no. But we did have anhydrous on site which is horrible for lungs and eyes. Bad for skin too.

He's taking sight at me. Two posts deleted that were unwarranted and warning I'm 5 points from a ban. I guess telling someone that their opinion stinks or they are biased against automatics are insulting. SMH

Oh, I get it. It's just the broker should be more detailed because plenty of people would absolutely not get it...at all.
