Hydrogen Peroxide, H2 O2 two hydrogen, two Oxygen. The molecular bond is on the Oxygen, with the hydrogen attached at the ends. It is an oxidizer and bleaching agent as well as an antiseptic.
It has a wide range of uses. Cleaning and bleaching are most common. It is what most paper pulp is made white with now. Peroxide with a small amount of Ammonia will make a hair bleach/colorant. The peroxide blonde. It is also used in waste treatment as an antiseptic. The least considered use is for explosives. Very strong concentrations can be an extremely powerful explosive.
