Sorry but he has two cases, one against his wife and one against the company.

So when I was let go and not given a reason once, I could have sued? The Company was notorious for it, they used casuals and recycled them constantly so they never had to actually fully hire them. Anyone that asked why, heard the same answer. No specific reason. The Company is huge, and notoriously involved in Lawsuits, of all types. Rarely losing. Ironically they tried to hire me back 3 times. All this talk about suing someone. It’s not that easy. An ambulance chaser going after an insurance Company is common. Guaranteed win usually. In fact, a clear cut injury resulting from someone else’s negligence behind the wheel, usually can be settled directly with the insurance company. No need for a Lawyer. You’re better off without a Lawyer, and settling for the amount of coverage they have. All the Lawyer does is get 1/3 the amount. No Judge will go after more assets if there’s adequate coverage. Lawyers know this and won’t even try. If they’re underinsured, you need a Lawyer. Good luck finding one that will work on %. Any questionable case is going to cost money upfront, and charged accordingly as you go along. Lose the case you brought up, and you’re liable for the defendants legal bills on top of yours. Think you have a case? One free consultant away from finding out. Lawyers are looking for easy money. Not looking to do justice for you. Unless you’re willing to pay dearly. Good luck with that.

It’s all about getting people to watch the show or click on the link .

that’s why the news networks lie and hype up any and every story .
It’s not about the news anymore , it’s about the money . And since the internet and social media allows the networks to monetize division and controversy , then that’s what they do since it makes them a lot more money than a younger version of Walter Cronkite reading the news.

In an at will state , You can fire someone for NO reason . but you can’t fire someone for a illegal reason.

If you get fired and they give a reason, it has to be a reason that will stand up in court .

You can fire a women for no reason but you can’t fire her if she’s preggers .

You can fire a protected minority for no reason but you can’t fire them and say you fired them because they WERE a protected minority .

And it’s a certainty that any protected minority that gets let go will hire a lawyer and scream discrimination

if I were running a company I’d hire straight white males and no one else because a straight white male can’t successfully sue you for hardly anything .

    ZVar and Rideandrepair Thank this.

Yep, sounds about right. That’s exactly why the answer is “ No particularly reason” or “Sorry, can’t give you a reason”. Keeps them from being subject to discrimination or wrongful termination I guess. During my 1 yr. employment there, I had a minor accident, the Terminal Manager explained that he was glad he didn’t have to fire me, and how he has to fire anyone that’s involved in a Major accident, regardless of prior safety record, even if they’ve been an employee for 30 yrs. This was a Union Job, with a Teamster Master Freight Contract. It’s just Business. Shouldn’t be taken personally, was his point. I’m still friends with him, after 27 years. He now Owns a fleet of 60 Trucks. He would hire Me anytime, if I needed a job.

    ZVar Thanks this.
