a man hath no better thing under the sun, than to eat, and to drink, and to be merry:
    Ecclesiastes 8:15

Said with a bit of mirth, and about vanity, and about how both sides play on the other to achieve the same outcome.
Much like the social/economic/political environment today,

There is no new thing under the sun.

It is really amazing, the insight and wisdom, those primitive and backward people had a few thousand years ago.

I’m still alive. I imagine people thought either I shot the engine guy and was in jail or shot myself. Maybe both crossed my mind at one point lol.

Was on vacation in Florida last week. Stepped away from everything that was going on. Disgusted/broken/angry. This flipping truck engine debacle has been a humbling experience. Almost drove me mentally insane…..but ended up helping too. Clear head and new plans.

I am booked through Tuesday morning. If I can stand to hang on, I will run till September 9th. Going back to the oilfield on September 12th. I wussed out and left the drilling rig after less than a week back in Dec 2018. Regretted it ever since. Took years before they would take me back. Finally something turned out in my favor.

As far as the truck, not sure but I may be seeking a lawyer. Not sure if I have a case or not. His delays and incompetence basically cost me my business. I could fight and pull myself out and keep trucking but I have fallen out of love with this old arn. Found some newer used trucks for decent price but I’m not willing to throw anymore money at this. I’m fed up and I’m done.

I have only had one energy drink in 2 weeks. That alone is a big deal. A small little victory amongst all the crap lately. I’ll take it.

I know that you have had a terrible run of bad luck. Hopefully returning to the oil field will allow you to recover both mentally and financially. Good luck.

Good solid plan. Working in a oil play is great for getting your head together after a bad patch of luck in a different endeavor that got your your ### handed to you.

Because you keep busy no time to think about what you should or could have done and best part of all is the money that comes after a 2 weeks on of 12 hour days with over time. Especially when you work back to back a few of these rotations in a row.
    Good luck
