After my ordeal with Loves, breakdown called me and told me to take the truck to Vernells also in Marion IL. They got me right in and fixed in less than 2 hours. Loose bolt. Left there at 6pm and continued towards Costco but stopped at a rest area South of Cedar Rapids IA at 1230am, and resumed at 0730, got four hours back plus and ran to Costco (Owatonna). Got there before noon (my appointment was at 10am) and they unloaded me! They said they were really slow so I guess they wanted their 810 Keurig Coffeemakers. Gone by 1pm.

Went to Kwik Stop 5 miles away and slept for four hours, then headed to Hastings MN for sacks of Wheat going to Rotellas Italian Bread in LaVista NE. Quick unload there, and headed back to our Council Bluffs Yard for grease maintenance and wait for a load headed for home. By 3pm they got my load home, just had to go get it in Columbus NE, stayed in the weigh station in Van Meter IA and today drove to the Ohio Welcome Center past the Indiana border. Probably deliver Saturday morning then head home. Deuces!

I’ll have to go back and listen. I remember something a bit awkward being said about our low number and others being 7 digits.

May be he meant we wouldn’t be around this long if we as a company didn’t operate safely or something. Tying the age of a three digit number to years of safe operations.

As mentioned above, Trey seems like a good guy. I’ve only interacting with him once and I’d give him the benefit of the doubt if he jumbled a poorly crafted sentence.

Being a “good guy” doesn’t equal experience to be safety director however.

That may be, however in my dealings with him so far I can vouch for the fact that he is definitely a straight shooter As well as a good guy. There is only one way to get experience, and hes working on that, in my opinion hes been doing a pretty #### good job so far. I watched the video, I'm pretty sure he just miss spoke about the dot# , But honestly who the hell cares? The guy is doing a good job, and everybody I know of here is happy. So as far as I'm concerned that speaks volumes

I just found it odd that both the safety guys made the same comment….

Yeah... we get it... would you rather have a guy that knows the green book cover to cover, verbatim, never misspeaks, but will burn your ### at the stake every time you roll a stop sign, exceed the speed limit, or get within 2 seconds of the car in front of you?

You don't need 30 or 40 years of experience in trucking to know what goofy conduct behind the wheel looks like

Any TX Drivers here know if any of our San Antonio customers are Drop n Hook?

Taking Home Time in San Antonio TX to meet up with the Better Half after her work conference for a fun weekend away from the norm.

I hear we have customers in that area so FCC should be able to get me to the area without too much trouble.

    Thanks.
