Yes, I have a reverse osmosis system that filters it out.

Did some Deck Sanding last Summer using both a Orbital and Belt Sander on Pressure Treated Lumber

Believe I used 40 or 60 Grit Belts and 60 Disc's in the tight spots....went through tons of Paper on the close to 400 SF Deck

After Sanding the entire Deck I wasn't happy about the results so then it was time to replace Boards

So from the Stairs out to the Deckface it was remove and replace time

It was a bunch of work but the end result was worth it

@4mer trucker nice looking deck. After all of that hard work, what did you use to treat or seal it?

I previously had a huge deck that received a lot of direct sun and also some significant snowfall. I used Thomson’s to seal it and reseal it but it still looked like crap in about 4 years. I thought that I would use trex or aluminum if I ever have another deck.

    Good morning Pete

I used a Sherwin Williams Latex Semi-Transparent Stain on the Deck

Also redid the Front Staircase and Landing in 2020, the same Sherwin Williams Product Line was used but in a Oil Base due to Latex not being available due to the Supply Line Issues

Would have liked to remove the Wood Decking and install TimberTech Composite Boards but was talked out of it because someone felt the Composite Material would be too hot

Do you have a water softener, course sediment filter, fine filter, uv light? Hmm carbon filter, yeah that too.

Or just RO for drinking water and let everything else be what it is?

What brand model did you get in your RO? If you don't mind.
