My company has been in business since 1932 and been thru many hard times , I've been loyal to them and they've been loyal to me .
Don't see them going anywhere in my driving career but I fully expect contract reefer rates to drop and inbound rates to crash , I'll survive and so will they ...ive seen it before .

I did. Instead of buying a reefer of my own last year I bought a rental property

It is if the going rate in PA is 275 an hour, but living in podunk ND 225 is great.

Multiple trailers are great in theory. In reality you are always behind the curve. You are trying to whack that mole after he’s already popped up and is on his way back down. You will never succeed if you don’t pick something and stick to it.

And to the guy that thinks hauling chicken nuggets is the same as hauling muriatic acid and tanks- well your an idiot.

That's exactly the point I was trying to make in my post's
But he thinks he's living large ..

I understood perfectly. He even made the point for you with his humble brag. I can promise a carrier operating out the the north east has significantly higher cost than does a guy from North Dakota.

So in this instance he’s basically the illegal alien crossing the border to come hang dry wall in Des Moines. But hey! He’s making more than he’d make in Honduras.

    Exactly...
You can't fix stupid ..so I don't waste my words on fools
I did find it amusing that he was bragging about being a rate cutter
He is the Poster Child for my original post ...lol

He doesn’t bother me as bad as the guy that thinks unloading paper towels is no different than dumping a load of coal that’s froze solid in your bucket. Or loading bricks is the same as loading cows. Or dragging 16’ wide equipment through Chicago is the same as hauling soy beans in Nebraska. Or hauling logs in Oregon is equivalent to water melons out of Florida

We don't like the bickering and infighting on this thread between the O/O.

Of course we need to split hairs for the really butt hurt ones and recognize some are lease operators.

So we're going to JBHUNT that way we can be docile good little drivers.

You’ll do a lot of trailer switching. So I guess it sorta fits in the conversation
