I have a mbn that the turbo went out and instead of buying a $3000 oem turbo I got a non waste gate turbo from full tilt but with that I’m running a stock ecm 475 hp. Is there some tuning I can do to wake her up I don’t want to get crazy hp 600 is max as long as it’s safe. I got money so..

Once getting rid of that weak factory turbo most people get it flashed with a 6NZ file, it should make it a whole new truck as long as everything else is in order, and you can actually get some fuel mileage out of a MBN then driving sensibly.

    100% Agree! It's quite a different animal after a 6nz tune.

Cat won't do it, I have the 550 file in mine and it is night and day, went from 5ish to 6.25 on fuel mileage, looking at different turbos now, what turbo did you go with? I just regeared down to 2.74's so I need something that boosts good on the lower rpm range

How low of rpm are you planning to run?

Once I get everything set my cruise rpm should be right around 1300-1350, its pretty flat where I run, actually really flat, I went from 3.55's to 2'74's simply for the fact that alot of the winter the wind is so brutal even the most aero trucks have trouble pushing any speed, when it is like that I will be in direct going my 60-65, and when I turn around and the wind is pushing me I can make up for it in od and get really good mileage
