Yeah, if you put it in drive or reverse and let your foot off the brake, they’ll maintain 2 mph. It’s pretty handy and takes any kindof guess work out. Just cover the brake and it’ll do what it needs to do as needed.

I can measure the gap this week if you’d like to know.

No need to measure. I’m keeping my truck. Lol. I went with 250” and the short rubber flaps on the extenders because it’s how I wanted it to look.

After driving this new truck I couldn’t care less if I ever have to shift gears again, other than the 13spd whenever I get my cabover done.

Absolutely, you made a great call there my friend.

Here is the last 300 miles or so he ran across NM and into AZ this evening. Shows 69 but was running 75 except to park of course. Blows my mind.

I have another truck that’s a couple yrs old in the 300k range going across the same area with the same type of freight that’s showing 7.1 mpg.

Who freakin knows sometimes right? Trucks be crazy…

My settings are 43" from front of trailer to back of cab. Seems to be one of the better settings for weight as well with a 13200LBS front axle on the Volvo. They are heavy on the front as is.

Yessir! I know it’s tough and I hate it for the traditional large car type operators but unfortunately the squeeze is real.

My Dad got 3 mpg and ran triple digit speeds back in the day but 2022 is just not the same.
