Looking for advice, have over 20 years experience in all types trucking. Looking for long length of hauls to see the country. My fiance will be going with me and will be living in the truck and can stay out for weeks at a time. Also will be moving and establishing residence near the company terminal I work for.
Thanks for any recommendations

Thanks those are the responses I was hoping for. I have looked into Holland in ND and Crete so far but wanted to have as many options as I can. Been doing regional and short hauls for so long have been at my current company over 8 years. Like I said we will be relocating and can move right by the terminal for residency since will basically live in the truck.
Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
USA Truck is dry van. Has a program where you can choose your loads and run where you want to.
Can relocate to a state with no personal income taxes, such as Florida, Texas, Tennessee, Nevada.

Suggestion(s):
1) Try to complete a full 10 years at your current company, actually going into your 11th. year, until you get your W-2 form for your 10th. year with your current company.
2) I suggest this because trucking companies, (providing that I'm not mistaken), must, by federal law, go back at least a full 10 years on your work history. Also, if you have them, make copies of all 10 years worth of W-2 forms to provide to various potential future trucking companies, along with any other records as logs, driving history, and MVR from both your current state and all other other states, (if applicable).
3) Tyson Foods, out of Springdale Arkansas, could be a possible suggestion. Their drivers are OTR. Springdale Arkansas is the headquarters for Tyson Foods, along with having a terminal over there, or close by. Perhaps Springdale Arkansas, or other nearby cities or towns could be a place of residence for you and your lady.
Good luck to you and your family!
God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!
The absolute sheer driving force of our national economy - without truck drivers, our entire national economy would come to an absolute standstill - if not outright be dead.

If you want to pull a conestoga, Long Haul Trucking in Minnesota has really long runs. A buddy of mine worked there he was doing cross country runs almost constantly. His first month there he loaded in Seattle for Miami, reloaded somewhere in Florida for Riverside CA, reloaded in LA for Albany NY. That’s about as trucking as trucking gets.
