Guys, what do you think about this tire? Made in Thailand. They are 16-ply. The guy will sell me 8 at $375 a pop installed. No sales tax, valve stems included. Gripower.jpg

Thank you. I just refuse to pay $700 for a drive tire. And 14-ply at that. I'm gonna give these a whirl. The guy says he sells a lot of them and has never had a complaint. If I can get 120k miles off these I'll be tickled pink. I WILL go premium on the steers next week.

I refuse to pay that much as well, and do not.
Michelin advantage program for o/o and fleets ;) you’ll get 200k on the Michelins easy, and they do well in snow and fuel economy

Without seeing the dot number plant code I can’t tell mfg. Never heard of the brand before. BUT. By looking at tread style pattern it is clearly a Bridgestone knockoff.

How much are tall 24s going for with their bs advantage program right now? Last time I looked into it the discount was a joke for me as a small independent.

When I bought my truck it had a gripower steers. I immediately replaced them but they held up. Seems little pricey though at $375

Yeah, they're pricey but compared to what? Two years ago, Ironman I-8s were going for around $260. Today, TA has them for $397. When you add in taxes, tire disposition fee and mounting fee (TA wants $45 per tire to mount), I'm looking at close to $500 for them.

These are $3000 for the whole set, all-inclusive. And they are 16-ply. I'll give them a shot. If anything, it'll serve as a learning experience and then I can pass that learning experience onto you guys. If they don't work out, then I'll know never to use them again. But if they DO work out...

I don’t have an answer on the talls. it is a free program, and I saved around 200 dollars each on h rated steers a while back. Just used it on a bf Goodrich trailer tire.
