First load today. Deadhead 35miles to load. 289 miles, one stop to scale and fuel. I have the app so no need to go in. Unload and drove nonstop 300 miles to home!

Awesome. My question for you is this... Was it part of your original plan to take that load and then deadhead home or was it because you were in a location that didn't have any freight?

    Just curious.

It's always exciting to haul that first load.

Do you have gauges on your truck and trailer?

It was my plan to deadhead home and regroup my thoughts and body. I figured at $3/loaded mile I wasn't losing by deadheading and I needed to concentrate on one thing. Today I woke up a trucker (I use that loosely as I know I have so much to learn) and the first time anxiety is gone.

Did you pay someone to do all the paperwork or do it yourself?
