I'm probably on the younger end of the spectrum and I don't doubt it'll happen at some point but I'll likely be retired by then so who cares.

You say well defined maps don't matter, but sorry they do. Once it gets away from the well-defined map it's, again, useless. Oh sure there are gimmicks around but all they really are is just a train track on the road. They are following a very very well defined route that they don't deviate from to get to where they want to go and if something happens they stop until someone can fix it.Blue jeans and Another Canadian driver Thank this. -
Wasn't there a problem recently where like half a dozen self-driving cars ended up on the same street corner, glitched out and blocked traffic until the imagineers showed up to get them out of the way?
