    I'm wondering if drivers in the CDL finishing program who call themselves trainers, need to have any special certification?

    I don't know about any certifications, but some of the "Training companies' have their own in house program to Train the Trainers. Unfortunately, many of these trainers do not even have four seasons of driving experience themselves. As most of us can tell by the quality of some of the drivers anymore
