    Hey Bryan
    How's it going.
Well I'm waiting on a lead trainer. It's been one thing or another. I qualified for the Entry level training program for FedEx. Not happy with.38 cpm then .42 cpm once finished with training it's 60cpm. It's a 300 hr program takes about 2 months
The kicker there's 3 in the truck

I drove for Cooke. Hauled furniture from NC to west coast with multiple drops. Hauled produce back. Mainly lettuce from Salinas,CA to Columbia,SC. They had nice equipment Peterbilts with Cummins engines. Reason I left was I didn't really like running team and wasn't crazy about their zone pay.

That's what I was wondering about zone pay. What didn't you like about it.

They divide the country into zones. For example a line for a zone could be the TX NM state line. If you crossed into NM say 10 miles on I 40 you make an extra $150. But if you go to Laredo or farther south, you don't get that $150 driving more miles.

I worked for them in 2014 and brought home about $800 a week being out 4-5 days home 2. I'm sure it pays more now. They were all good people to work for. It was the running team and zone pay that I didn't care for. There is also Bottomley Express and Mountain River Trucking in Mt. Airy.
