On a good news note. The wife had her 2 1/2 year check up. Dr says one more in 6 months, if the same, then we can go to once a year.

Turns out the butter back stock was in the freezer also. BACON grease to the rescue.

Cubed up the zucchini and fried it up in Bacon grease and minced garlic. Popped on some sketi sauce and did colby jack cheese. A quick 30 in the nuker to melt the cheese.......

Wife says I should do that again.

 

So our Operations Managers at work took the entire crew to lunch last Thursday at The Longhorn Steak House. It was amazing!!! Best steak ive had in a very long time. 10 people and the tab came to $350 plus tip... The one OM said he may not have a job after corperate sees the bill... Lol

 

Sounds like a cheap employee retention and team building exercise.

Most companies figure employees cost over $100 per hour by the time all the taxes, benies, and insurance are paid. You know they will burn through more than four hours of time to get somebody set up in the system. It was less than the administrative cost of bringing on/replacing 1 employee.

They should give him a bonus for financial responsibility.

 

Learned something today. Black pepper AND Tabasco on eggs is too much heat. One or the other is good but not both.
