Why is it sometimes impossible to shut the trailer doors on sloped ground?

If the op doesn’t understand the trailer is out of square after looking at these pictures, there’s nothing anybody could ever do to help him.

 

Maybe the OP will switch to open deck. Just think of the possibilities for discussion...tie down methods, types of chains, binders, how many of what kind...it could go on forever.

He'd be too busy struggling to get the doors of his side box closed to even think about securement questions.

 

So like 30% of current open deck that's never heard of TTR?

Depends on how flexy the trailer is .

and doing 4 mph on 285 around Atlanta , which is just about every time I go through there , you can get pretty close , you gotta get close enough so other vehicles can’t cut in front of you , if you leave a safe following distance five cars will dive in and fill it .

 

Uneven ground will make your trailer twist, from front to back and side to side. When your trailer twists it will make things out of square. When your trailer is out of square, your square doors will not close because the opening is out of square. Next time you are pulling out of a dock, pull up and close your doors, easy peasy. Then open them up and run one side of your tandems up on a curb, or a pedestrian, fire hydrant, then try closing your doors. Not so easy peasy. It's like putting a round ball in a square hole. Sometimes when things do not fit, it is because they are out of alignment. I do no want to put you in the same category as all the twisted folks on here. No sense in insulting them. But you are out of alignment.
