My beacon lights on my '17 389 just stopped working. When I tap on the left light, it briefly flashes once, then stops. I've checked out the fuses both inside the truck and under the hood. They're all good. So, 1) what is the chance it's the rocker switch? 2) How do I check to see if the switch is bad). Thanks in advance.

If it flashes when you tap on it I would say the light is your problem
MartinFromBC, 77fib77 and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
Take a test light, ground the wire then tap the power wire with the test light . if test light comes on, then wire is good and beacon light is going out... If test light doesnt flash, then either u dont have a good ground for the test light or ur wire is bad. To find if u have a bad ground, probe a known wire that has power in the area until u find a good ground, then use that to probe the beacon light wire... Then u trace the wire back to where it goes , and repeat test until u find the problem..

If you tapped the beacon and it lit up, it’s the beacon or connection at the beacon. Why would you think it’s the switch?

beacon light?
