That would be very handy. Use an app and get her little glucose readings right away. They never make stuff for animals even though most people that have animals would pay for that stuff. When my little Bear had kidney problems I was gonna try and get him a transplant but found it had very poor results unlike humans. Just a shame how the medical world has not improved hardly at all for animals.

Well you can get a meter and do it with a prick just like people. On a normal cat or dog. Takes me petting holding her, a tech holding her, and another getting the sample.

A man's got to know his limitations.

Yeah that is no fun for anyone. Do they use the same stick from a human? If so this would work. Would need to shave a little area and stick it on. She would go crazy and pull it off unless it was somewhere she could not get too. Might be to mean to do something like though.

It all looks the same to me. But as soon as I poked her, that would be that.

The whole issue was in doubt when I first started giving her the shots.

She was like," WHAT THE F ARE YOU DOING MAN?!?!?!?"

My Florida adventure turned out decent. Went down for $3000 on 950 miles, came right out of Miami, 24 mile DH, for $1400 on 870 miles. Now I’m heading back to Tampa. $2800 on 45 mile DH and 650 loaded miles. Probably DH up to Ga. for a load out. Overall average should be $2.60 pm, same as last week. Just fueled up for $4.15 gallon. We’re saving now!!!

6 more pages and KW6969 has a 200 pager. I've cut my effort WAY back. Still gonna finish the week at 2800 miles and 7700$ all in. I started this as a semi (pun unintentional) retirement, then got high on freedom and 16k$ weeks.

Time for me to cut way back. It's huntin season, and the dogs are ready to go.

No 4000k + miles/week for me till after turkey season.

I am sure she was like WTF are you doing? I thought we was better than that. Why the hell are you hurting me? I had to give my my little Bear fluids at home for the last month he was alive to help him fill better. He did not like it at first but then he seen it made him feel better. He understood it but he was on his death bed at that time. He would just sit as still as he could and let me do it. I sure miss that little guy. Her was such a happy little boy! IMG_1481.jpeg

It's been about a year and 10 months. And we've definitely had our episodes.

I've conceded sometimes the kitty simply isn't taking it's shot.

She's gone hypoglycemic twice in that time, most recently this weekend.

The vet said cats can go into remission, and at the least probably adjust her dosage down.
