What area do you run? I am out of KCMO and not looking for a job but if you are around the area I may know someone that might work for you.

We are midwest regional....I did have a recruit kind of a circle of plants between milwaukee omaha amarillo and Dallas....I did have a recruit I picked up from our local freightliner so would say I could fill one more truck without sacrificing our spare truck

Very rarely do my drivers not make bonus.

There was one 3 years ago, but he was also fired.

Hey OP, did you ever ask the drivers what would make their lives better behind the wheel?

It isn't always more money that they want.

For dedicated work, I rotate drivers because it is very tiring, I did dedicated for three years and it was boring.

Our dedicated drivers truly enjoy their routes; they travel an average of 2600 miles per week for $2200 per week, half of which is spent hauling back empty trailers.

    Badmon Thanks this.

I sold my extra trucks. The reality is you cannot pay a driver a high wage and still stay in business with the rates going on right now.

Usually the way the market sways you profit enough when it’s good to outlast the bad.

However if you have truck or trailer payments, plus the maintenance and high fuel prices, profit margins were too narrow for me to continue. Leased on you’re losing 10-15% right off the top also before anything.
