Hello guys I have an issue with my leaking air where the exhaust manifold & turbo gasket meets. Just had may turbo gasket replaced bc it was bad but it didn’t help any so the guy at the shop said I’ll have to replace my turbo & exhaust manifold if I wanna fix the problem correctly! It’s a hairline crack but it’s there. My question is can I have this welded rather than having to replace these expensive items?

Cast iron = no weld. It'll never hold.

If it’s making you money invest in it. Just fix it when you can

I'd take it off and take it to a local welder or machine shop. It can be welded, but you want someone who knows how.

Pittsburgh Power has new ones not I believe they port and polish the inside. So you can get more power maybe better MPG. They are better then the factory ones.

Yeah it does, it has to be done by someone who knows how to do it right.

I had several cast iron components welded, not one failure.
