I just had an inframe done on my 2003 DT466. I drove over 100 miles works perfect. I pulled a steep grade without a load at a steady pace not real fast but not slow. When I reached the top of the grade I noticed white smoke I'm my mirror. I pulled over, tempt was 200 oil pressure was 40-50. I noticed the white smoke coming from the crank case tube that runs downward to the oil filter area. What smoke comes out oil dipstick tube also. I drove it hone within a few seconds engine tempt drops to 185 all the way home. Runs and sounds fine other than the whit smoke. Oil looks bemrand new. Coolant is full and new looking.
Is this normal? Is there a break in period?

Everything sounds normal to me. Work it hard and keep the boost up to seat the rings. The smoke from the Blowbye tube should get better. Watch the oil level close until it’s broke in. Keep the idle to a minimum and work it.

Had me worried after such a major repair. I'll run it a bit harder to see if setting the rings will help.
    Thank you!
