wouldnt it be cool if you could get one of those electronic type billboards on your trailer hooked to a computer or cell phone so your co-pilot (I never type and drive!) could type out a message to the offending driver???
Like "Smooth move, Ex-Lax" or "way to go, jerk!" OR my personal favorite "I may be slow but I'm still IN FRONT OF YOU!!!"
I have waaaaay too much time on my hands! LOL

Pic has been edited to not plug for the company. If this is what you see when driving behind us, your way too close! IE you cant see the mirrors.

All we might see maybe is a shadow of your vehicle in behind.

As a 4 wheeler, for the time being, I would like some input on my driving.

When I pass anything, truck or 4 wheeler, before signaling to move back in the lane, I look in all my mirrors and don't pull back in until I can see the entire vehicle and the face of the driver in my mirrors. Also, I don't assume that I was the only vehicle passing, so before I rely completely on my mirrors, I turn my head and look to make sure there is nothing in my blind spots.

Another peeve of mine is on ramps. There is generally enough time to look ahead and see if there are vehicles merging onto the highway. I watch to see if vehicles are coming in advance, and move over before I get to the ramp, when there is space available in another lane to do so.

Signal lights. They are a standard feature on all vehicles. Please use them. It is called communicating. You are letting others know your intention. They aren't there for decoration.

Flashing lights are only telling me that one particular vehicle is stating I am clear of them. There are many other vehicles on the road. Don't assume because one vehicle flashed their lights that it is safe. You still need to watch your mirrors and turn your head to look. You are responsible for the safe handling of your vehicle, but in order to do so, you have to watch what others are doing. Safe driving is more than putting a vehicle in gear and going.

The practice of seeing the other vehicle in your mirrors before pulling in front of the passed vehicle is good for cars but not trucks . You have to more than double that when pulling in front of a truck . Try to get at least one tractor trailer length ahead of the truck before pulling in .

    teddy_bear6506 Thanks this.
