Anyone know how to get road grade from google maps or some other source?

it looks kind of steep. I went down Cabbage Hill in Oregon with only a warning from an OTR coworker of "take it easy going down Cabbage". Cabbage has abundant warning signs and suggested speeds based on your gross weights. Often there is no convenient or level alternative road to avoid the big hills. So what are you going to do if you have a map with a mile post & % grade warning showing you a steep hill/descent before you get to it? Just drive it like your trainer or a cop was riding in the passenger seat next to you. You can drive safely. I always found it helpful to keep the phone number of a trainer, a co-worker, older driver with more experience. If I was unsure of a situation I would call "my expert" and ask for their advice. I'll give you my phone number even though I don't drive anymore and I don't know your truck.

    Sphincter clinching for sure.
You wait until it starts at 16 and goes to 19, we have agitators pulling up here most days. Can only take 3/4 of a load the short way as they loose the last 1/4 out the back. Or go the long way, still 16% and take a full load. Admit though when you get to 3mph on full noise in fist it starts to get worrying.

It sure is. I would have bet there was no way a loaded mixer truck could make it up that hill but somehow it does.
