Some simple trip planning and clock management can help with that. If you are a W2 a little luck with being issued a good running truck never hurts either. The first 2 though, that will keep you on time and out of trouble. If your dispatcher knows you are going to get it done, he will give the load that gets you the miles over the guy that's always late cause he is chasing lot lizards at every stop. You get that Friday pickup with a Monday delivery, and he sits til Monday. That weekend run adds a good bit to your pay. It really is those little things that keep you on the upper end of the pay scale.
Is this good pay?? What are you guys making… these are NET paystubs after taxes and 401k contributio
