686E9617-D687-4051-A8F6-48C2E7C0245F.png That fans a brand new Kitmasters reman fan. Here’s my old fan. I rebuilt it less than 2 yrs ago with a Kitmasters kit. They’re supposed to reimburse me the cost of the kit, and give me partial credit on my core. They said they’ve never seen this happen before. Bearing and race are all jammed up, I followed the instructions. Properly torqued everything.

My fan bolts were not really tight. Now I feel Like I need to go around and tighten EVERYTHING.

    You do.

The one time in my life, the one and only time I have taken my truck anywhere for anything was for a three actual alignment and I will never do it again like everything else I will do it myself of course.

First they tried to rip me off on the price.

Then I began to feel a vibration that felt like it was coming from my Rears. I was lucky because I was close to home.

I got out of the truck and I started looking around what the heck is it? I'm looking and looking next thing you know I see where the suspension bushing bolts up to the hanger One bolt is gone, and the other bolt is loose.

The effing moron never put a torque wrench on it.

And just so that you know in case you ever do something like that yourself, you do exactly what I did when I got home. I got all new grade 8 bolts for both axles with all new lock nuts and I torqued every one in by hand myself.

    F those mother effers.

The thing that would worry me the most , were these morons inside the motor? and is there something left loose there?

Yes they were. It was a full out of frame rebuild on a block they had in stock.

It's possible that they had someone more experienced actually install the Pistons and set the liners and do the bearings and put the head on Etc. If you had the head gone over most likely that got sent out to machine shop so that's all probably okay.

Maybe they just had somebody less experienced putting the rest of the accessories on there?

Head was sent out. The guy who has been there 30+ years did the rebuild. A collection of re-tards did the rest.

A new issue not pertaining to the engine. I cant get the ac or heat to fully shut off. And if the heat is on, it isn’t adjusted with the knobs to mix with outside air. Its hot no matter what setting.

The inside valves are bad. Cabs on passenger side heater hose. Bunks under the bunk on a heater hose. Shut off the water valves under the hood when you want a/c till you can change the heater control valves. Bunk could be the control dial knob also. Probably the valve. Turning the coolant off to each will tell. As far as not shutting off, never heard of that.Compressor or fans run constantly?

Yes. Its blowing even in off mode. Heat or AC. Like its stuck on low setting.

    I deleted the bunk heat/ac.

That valve is one of the few things that I haven’t replaced. Thanks!!

    Rideandrepair and InTooDeep Thank this.
