I made it to Sunnyside in Turlock this afternoon. For any soon to be IRT drivers reading this, it’s a drop/hook. The empties are in a fenced lot across the street.

Shippensburg, PA to Wilmington, DE last Sunday was 127.

Wilmington, DE to Bradenton, FL was 1,028.

Bradenton, FL to Arcadia, FL was 60.

Arcadia, FL to Turlock, CA was 2,764.

That brought my TRANSFLO for this week to 3,979 miles. That was from last Sunday to today (Monday). The Wilmington to Bradenton was carried over because our TRANSFLO cutoff is Monday at midnight. I made it to Bradenton after the gate was locked, so I couldn’t drop it and get a signature until Tuesday morning.

There will be an additional 50 or 60 miles on that once payroll sees that I went to Winter Haven for a clean tank prior to Arcadia. Sometimes the miles won’t show on the assignment in situations like that, but the payroll department always catches it and adds them in.

All of the above were drop/hooks except for Shippensburg and Arcadia (live load there is rare).

    Dennixx and Redtwin Thank this.

I've never had anything but drop and hook at Arcadia. I think maybe you used up your luck for that week with that early unload at Shippensburg. :D

It threw me for a loop too! I was like “Huh? Live load Arcadia?” It was scheduled for 9am Wednesday. I slept there Tuesday night. They told me I could drop it and they’d load it with the yard mule for me if I wanted, but I chose to stay hooked up to it. I wanted the wake up knock so I could get an early start on the trip.

    Redtwin Thanks this.

Brand new 5** truck too. Tell him if it ever hangs up in 4th and won't change up, flick the gear selector to N and then back to D. Just a quick split-second flick is all it needs.

Does he have a pump tractor?. We don't normally hookup to that outlet unless running a PTO pump.

Yes he does. He’s running out of the Cordele terminal. That’s where he had his orientation. The other 2 drivers with him were rehires.

@Tanker_82, I am leaning towards IRT and would ask for your honest opinion of them.
I have 20+ years OTR and live over near Sebastian. Can I make $ with them Driva?
I started when we had paper logs and have used ELDs so, can they keep an old hand moving or is what I see about sitting with them true? I have the new paysheet, I see $20 per hour on detention, how many days is orientation? Thanks in advance.
