TQL question

    Hauled a load ,broke down and another company came and got the load and delivered it. tql charged me the difference. I dont see that anywhere in my ratecon. Am i liable to pay this, is this standard operating procedure..any help is appreciated..thanks

    Yep. You are responsible for the load once you sign for it. But, how far you moved the load should be factored in. And thus you would have to pay to haul it the rest of the way.

    Standard procedure, is when you break down you rent a truck, have towing company deliver, call a friend, have one of your other trucks take care of it. Sounds like tql held your hand on this one and you should thank them for helping you out on your service failure.

    Be careful with TQL I know someone that works there he said they have $2500 loads that they call drivers to haul for $1200 that’s ridiculous. Beware drivers
