Does anyone have any updates on this ? I read through the lawsuit but haven’t seen any updates. This is crazy if it’s true.

Holy cow. That is amazing that it appears to have been written by an attorney like that. Looks like a script to a movie. The way "me" is mentioned in many of those 100+ paragraphs I thought for sure the guy wrote this himself. I think a lot of these cases get transferred to the venue of the defendant, if that's the case then this person is in for some expensive trips to court. Or at least most class actions are transferred, perhaps not this one, though.Last edited: Nov 23, 2022

If you’ve worked there……

Haha. But if they settle how will they afford those chrome nut covers ?Still undecided, Veteran driver, Another Canadian driver and 2 others Thank this.

By doing what they’ve always done; taking it from the drivers.
Look, all flatbeds go down the road, for roughly the same rates, if they’re hauling out of the same places. If one of those companies has much fancier trucks and facilities, where does the money for that come from? The drivers. Guaranteed, it never came out of Harrold’s pocket.S3V3N 0F N1N3, autopaint, Still undecided and 7 others Thank this. -
Sounds like there are a few "embellishments" in that story. But if half of it is true, TMC should have handled this immediately.
Another Canadian driver, homeskillet, ducnut and 1 other person Thank this. -
I am curious, how come you think it's embellished or imagined?D.Tibbitt, EvertonP, Another Canadian driver and 1 other person Thank this.

Exactly!
I feel like this is another case where a new driver, in a new environment, loses their bearings. Why would anyone tolerate this treatment and work environment? Because they’re lost and don’t know any better. It’s why many experienced drivers will preach maintaining control of one’s situation. It’s not about being combative toward or dismissive of a company; it’s about protecting one’s self. If the situation doesn’t feel right, get the hell out of there. But, most times, new drivers/young people just don’t know any better, whether it’s a work situation or life situation. I feel bad for him.LilRedRidingHood, Coffey, EvertonP and 1 other person Thank this. -
Jeesh ...good grief man!
I may have met this dude and he was cool as heck. Helped me fold my tarp then I helped him fold his. I mean it had to be him if blacks are so rare at TMC??
I would have hired the guy in a heartbeat. I hope the fragile little white dude gets schooled.
I don't like sharing rooms with any dudes though! Screw that!Constant Learner, LilRedRidingHood, Coffey and 4 others Thank this.
