going to have to imagine it. Not going to happen outside of point to point company hauls.

Anyone you has ever had a live load knows most stops this will not work with. No wharehouse is going to unhook a truck, and bump the trailer into a dock, aside from walmart that does drop and hooks

All they will say about the 500 mile road test is that it originated in Austin TX, probably one of the most level places in the US. Elevation changes make a big difference in mileage in a diesel as well as an electric vehicle. So once you get 500 miles from Austin TX, where do you charge it for the night?

Tesla guarantees the batteries on their cars for 100,000 miles. I wonder how long they'll guarantee the batteries on their class 8 trucks, and how much they will cost to replace?

The same place it started from. Why do people want to treat a daycab as an otr truck? It's not meant to leave it's home base, to know, like every other day cab in existence.

Marty Mcfly has a flying car, and then Doc invented a flying train. I guarantee trucks are next.

UPS might not agree with you. Those guys sleep in their day-cabs at night or in a motel. On the I-5 west coast, day-cabs are all they drive from Mexico to Canada and I frequently saw them sleeping in the seats at night. But I agree, they aren't meant for that.

Saw a Nikola on the hook, traveling west, OH I-70 MM9, today. Wondering what the details are?

Edit: I thought it was on a hook. It was actually on a double-drop that I couldn’t see, because of traffic. It’s sitting at Knightstown, tonight.
