Yea!!! Am at the house now for 4 glorious days off. Boo to my brother for not having even 1 stinking beer in the house. Its Sunday so the liquor stores are closed and that means no GOOD beer till tomorrow. Guess I'm just going to have to settle for 3.2 Bud. Thats for later on tho after I crawl into bed for some good zzzzz's. House is mty, the cat is fed so shes happy and quiet now, think I'll lay down.

Well softball offically starts today even with snow on the ground and it freezing outside. I can't believe they didn't call it off. Anyway waiting on 1bad to return the truck so I can get Hope there on time even tho I haven't been released to drive. I just hope I don't have so much pain I can't tolarate it till I get back home. Skipping my morning meds so that I don't risk an accident. Wish me luck.
And Happy Valentine's day to all my forum friends make sure the ones you love know that! -
you too widow, best wishes!

I did make my concerns known both to the assigners and my DM. Yes, if all went perfectly and the stars were in allignment it could work. Enter lake effect snow event with various blizzard, ice etc. and I was delayed on the first leg. That delivery was made late (notice was given and an updated ETA). Also warning had been given about the 14 hr day due to the mere mileage between stops and being solo.
Well, time ran out prior to the 99. I did the best I could and pulled some miracles off to get it as smooth as it was, not to mention...skipping breaks, meals etc....
They should be more realistic with their times. They leave little if any slack.
Plus with all the snow back here recently...I cannot believe that customers can't understand a reasonable delay. -

An interesting article for us OTR drivers: 5 Tips to being happy for the long haul.

biermann58, the 6-p's?? hahahaha I like the 3-p's myself and use it on my company ALOT. Piss poor planning on YOUR part does not constitute an emergency on my part. Back off, will do things as I can.
