You cannot touch weed ever if you're a truck driver.
Not even after a random drug test because you can be called in for another random right after.
It's happened.darthanubis, bentstrider83, Tb0n3 and 5 others Thank this. -

For those thinking they can smoke or eat edibles or whatever method they use to get high, you are NEVER more than one bad driving 4-wheeler hitting your truck away from a drug test. Even if you were tested by your company 2 days ago, when some 4-wheeler hits your truck while you are stopped at a red light or some other situation where you are COMPLETELY innocent, when you fail that surprise drug test you could face criminal charges, not just a termination and a few hard years trying to one day drive at a company that may treat you better than chewing gum on the bottom of their shoe.
I am sure the OP has learned his lesson. I am grateful several times every week that almost none of the other serious mistakes I have made in my life were ever discovered or punished as much as they could have been. That taught me to stop tempting fate. You might get away with mistakes on rare occasions but it is beyond foolish to think mistakes won't be punished. There will places to work after OP gets through the SAP process and I hope he works at a great job and has a great life. It's very important to learn from other people's mistakes. Lots of younger people seem to act like they can't be punished unless they agree with the punishment. That's not how it works.darthanubis, scottied67, W923 and 15 others Thank this.
