Commercial driving education for non commercial drivers

You mean like Drivers Ed?

 

My high school had 3 cars and you took classroom first then on the road training with an instructor. He doubled as a history teacher. Not any commercial instruction but responsible driving habits. You learned to parallel park in the middle of town on the Square. High pressure but you learned the right way. To this day when me and the wife go somewhere, depending on location, she makes me drive so she won’t have to parallel park. I am good at it

I’d rather see DMVs make people going to drive a camper over a certain length to take a class and get an endorsement on their license for it…

 

There are very few driver ed classes at high schools now.
No one has the money.

 

In my drivers ed class they had an otr trucker come in one day and give a lecture to the class. Actually learned quite a bit.
