Years ago they put a new power transmission line in on that pass. I was working for another contractor at the time, and the company that was putting in the power lines hired him to haul a D8 up the east side to the top. I got the honors. At 130,000lbs. going up that grade required working with Wyoming Highway Patrol to escort me. I told them at the bottom, "whatever happens don't make me stop until I get to the top, because getting started again might be a problem". It really wasn't too bad, but it wasn't a fast trip.

That looks like Togwotee. You must have come down through Jackson but stayed on 26 to Alpine. I do enjoy that drive!

Is that a Trail Eze trailer, built in Mitchell SD if I’m correct? With a wet kit on the tractor?

Thank you sir. Its Ceramic. Been meaning to update it for awhile. Had to buy a special cord that would fit thru the hole.
No likey 3 way socket. Thats what was in it and I never liked it. It sleeps with the fishes now.

I was working at Jackson Mack in Ms when the 300s came on in 87 or 88 I think. They had an in house pump room with some guys in it that could make a couple inches of orange fire come out of a straight stack on a 237. Was a bridge building company name of John Moon Construction, hauled a concrete piling always. Never uncommon for a trained eye to see one of em, late evening or nite comin up Hwy 49 on a good hill with orange tips licking out of the top, and a wonderful sound.

It's a national trailer with a pony motor. Which is now owned by Kalyn Siebert.

Ok cool. Company I worked for bought a Trail Eze that looked similar. Me an a guy went to I think it was Mitchell to get it. Was built in a factory converted from a cattle feed lot. Never seen such at the time. Trailer either.
