Well we delivered in Allentown and picked up in Bethleham, PA at US Cold Storage, we had a 7pm appt and they let us come early so we could miss the snow storm which we are sitting under now:biggrin_25510:!!! But that was nice of them:biggrin_25514:!! We deliver in Dunn, NC at Food Lion tomorrow. Anyone hazard a guess where we might go to Pickup?

LOADED LIKE A BOXCAR, DISPATCHED LIKE A STOCKCAR! :biggrin_25515:

Ok, I'm here, I finally got my 'net back up full time now. Some of you have met me, yup, I'm the guy you don't want to meet on the road so they say....... Seriously though, I'm always up for some fun and can sling it with the best of 'em. Even ask Grizz........ Once in awhile, I'll post some pics and stories of the crazyness that happens at my place and Grizz has seen some of it first hand when he stops by. I'm gonna break the ice here with this one. Is this anyone on here? He said he just started a few weeks ago, didn't catch his name tho. [IMG]

Ok still here at this wonderful cold storage facility in Dallas. Well this will be my first and LAST time ever coming here. I've never seen such lousy treatment of drivers. 24+ hours to get unloaded, their RUDE with a capital R and slow as a snail. We're not the only ones here waiting all day. They claim it's because they don't start receiving until 1600 if so why did they give people 0600 appointments. they actually told me and another JCT driver that we were late, that we were suppose to deliver on Sunday 2/14 oh yeah did I mention they are closed on Sunday's and our Qcom delivery says 2/15. But what can ya expect when their name says it all. Needless to say you can tell I'm angry, JCT doesn't suspend my truck payment for the day. A day like today can blow any chance of having a good week.

WOW can't someone vent their frustration w/o being criticized?? I'm pretty sure if you were there in his shoes you'd be pissed off too. That USCS is one of the worst ones we ever go to. The receiver/ shipping guy is always rude. Plus you got trks all in the street and try to get them to move when u back in?? Now I can tell you that here at jct we hardly experience these screwups with appts. So yes we get upset when you gotta sit more than 24 hrs b/c they claim ur late and put u in the bottom of the list when its not ur fault at all

Uh-oh...somebody stirred up Alan again! Get 'em, Alan....

But on a serious note, they are complete jerks there. I recall parking in their lot to simply go and check in and getting chewed out by the yard driver for being in the lot before my appointment time. "You cannot park in the lot. You have to park in the street." I then asked him if he meant the street with the red and white "NO PARKING" signs, and he told me to leave the parking lot. SO...I went across the street to their brand new parking lot that had 3 trailers in it, and he came over and chewed me out again. I told him I would move in a few minutes, and he came ovewr before I made the move, BUT this time he was nice. Why? Because I had some product on the trailer that they needed to get off before my appt time, and he asked, rather nicely, if I would please back into the door. My response was "I can't. My appointment isn't for another 3 hours, and I am not allowed in the parking lot before that time". He ate crow, and I got unloaded early!
