We live in a Global Society "Kansas". You say you don't feed illegals but I would bet you feed non-americans with almost everything that you buy at the store. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe you have an absolutely strict regimen of buying "NOTHING" that is made outside of our borders, but I would bet not. The keyboard you're typing on probably isn't even Made in USA. So you're just selectively prejudiced. You hate latino's but you love everyone else enough to gladly support their country and buy their wares. Thats cool. I got ya'. That goes for everyone else here that hates Latino's here as well. I'm no better than Latino's. I'm just lucky to have been born here in the USA. If I wasn't, I would be trying to get here myself. And talk about a daunting task that I've read here... the "Why don't you just go back and rebuild your own country" .... That would be like saying, "hey Kansas" go to all of your ghetto's in your state and get them to stop doing METH...that should be pretty easy, huh? and when you're done with your state, since you're on a roll, get it outta your neighborring states as well...easy enough, right? LOL

It's true we do live in a "Global Society".....
But we have rules and laws to live by.....The illegals are here because of two main reasons....

    1) Progressives in this country gave them an open invitation;
    2) The Mexican government doesn't give a rats a z z about it's poor...

    So........

If you were poor and the only opportunity to feed you and your family was to break the laws of the US...that the government doesn't enforce...What do you do....

Stay in Mexico and starve?...Or jump the fence, take your chances, screw American citizens out of their taxes to feed you and family?

    Hard choice is it not?

tough choice for them indeed...and we condemn them for making the only logical best choice. I just wish the few would stop bringing with them all that meth, the few "giving them all a bad name" that's really just destroying our workers here, making us less productive, because we're becoming strung out or in jail

    So easy...

SO easy to blame somebody else...

So easy to blame somebody who is easily exploited...

So easy to blame another country...

So easy to call names and hide behind "patriotism"...

So easy to lose an election and to call the president names...

So much easier to be ignorant and a fool...

Let me tell you guys something:

If you're so upset about US jobs being lost, complain to the huge multi-national corporations that closed American plants so they could replace expensive, Unionized American workers by outsourcing to lower cost, business "freindly" countries.

Blame the American consumer who didn't care if his/her shoes were made in a quality factory in Michigan or by slave labor in China.

Where were truckers to defend the jobs in the US Merchant Marine that went down the drain as US ships were re-flagged foreign and US companies (Carnival Cruise Lines for example) got around those pesky US federal labor, enviromental and tax laws...? Not ONE Carnival ship is registered in the US. It's the same as being a US company operating trucks, buses or aircraft outta the US but with all foreign crews and having them registered in an African banana republic without paying any US tax!

Where were truckers as US factories were shut down one after another?

Now you expect somebody to care about Mexican trucks entering the US market?

Do you fly? I do and I have flown several Mexican and other foreign airlines. What's the difference? Free meals, free booze, 2 checked bags, good service, same level of safety and new aircraft. Why? Lower labor costs and the same FAA rules and regulations apply! How long before the US allows foreign airlines to compete in the US domestic market with foreign labor? Bye-bye United, American, Delta etc...

You seem to have forgotten AeroMexico flight #498.....Crashed in Cerritos, CA in 8-31-86

67 on board died and 15 on the ground were killed as well....
One wonders if a language barrier caused the crash.....

    BTW....What happened to our sovereignty....Mexico enforces it's immigration laws...Why can't we?

Well, that was the last major incident involving a Mexican commercial aircraft. And that crash was caused by a small, single engine aircraft which was American owned and operated, and it was responsible for the crash, not the AeroMexico flight.

Take a look at the safety records of the major US airlines...

And Mexican air carriers are ranked as some of the safest in the world.

That's like Mary Peter's remark that Mexican trucks are better maintained than US trucks.....

That Mexican drivers are safer than US drivers......

I spent last couple weeks in mexico, Jalisco and colima states, and trucks and buses for the most part modern and drivers no better or worse than up here, and not as aggressive as southern california. Still, safety shouldn't be the issue, but the jobs. Otherwise, eventually will our kids/grandkids be competing with the third world at every turn?
