Was this caused by a CRE truck ???

Or just your normal everyday train wreck ???

Aruba? Why would I want to move there? Alright so let me update you all on what's been going on.

First they do still have company team drivers, or they did last time I checked, the pay rate for them is abysmal, but it's still available (for teams only).

They do train Husband & Wife and all dedicated teams together. Husband and Wife espically, they go out with 1 phase 1 trainer like we did, and we did get off that first one's truck, got an excellent second trainer, and ran him close to 7000 miles in one week, he bought us a gps for doing it :D. Second Phase you will go to Q-Fleet, they issue you a company truck and pay you .24 cents a mile split. So your break even point is pretty much the same as being lease, you just can't get enough miles. The DM for Q-1 (Q-Fleet) is a nice guy but he's going to cap you at roughly 5100 miles in a given week.

So we did Phase 1, upgraded. Did phase 2, upgraded, and today we are sitting in a slightly used 2009 Freightshaker Cascadia, with less than 200k miles on it. Now I'll tell you right now it's not easy going through the school, then phase 1, and phase 2.

If you go to a school, go to the one in SLC. The one in Burns Harbor is harder to get transported to and fro, and all that. When you go to upgrade from phase 1, insist on doing it in Burns Harbor, it's a day or two days. In SLC it's 3-4 days. Same with phase 2 upgrade. Besides they have just as many trucks in Burns, but the people are much nicer.

We haven't started running as lease, yet but I'll let you all know what the money is like in a few weeks. - Karasu
