Gay Couple Interested in Trucking

IMHO.... Many of those who vilify gays and lesbians aren't comfortable enough with their own sexuality.

Perhaps the gay and lesbian members of this board will verify....But they are not out to turn you away from being straight.....

I'm not "insulted".....but....My sister-in-law happens to be a lesbian..... who is an educator who specializes in assisting autistic children.
Does being a lesbian disqualify her from doing what she loves.....helping these kids receive an education?

 

You announce it all the time without even realizing that you're doing it. Perfectly understandable.

 

Anybody can be a child molester.
It wouldn't disqualify her in as far as the law is concerned.

 

The ironic thing is that some of the best loved people are (or were if they passed on) Gay/Lesbian....

Danny Kaye for example.....I challenge anyone to disparage one of the greatest American performers.....

Pete Townsend is gay.....does that lesson his ability as of one of the greatest song writers in rock?

Melissa Etheridge, Rob Halford, Freddie Mercury, Michael Stipe...I could go on.....I don't care who they chose to hold dear....That's none of our business.....

 

I see what you're saying, Scuby, about companies being concerned about the risk of damage to their equipment. My thought is that no one was talking about a gay couple making out on the hood of their Pete in the Pilot parking lot. There's a difference between being out and displaying inappropriate public displays of affection. Personally, I don't want to see anyone fooling around in public -- gay or straight.

 

The OP didn't "announce" his sexual preference he asked a simple question about gay friendly companies. Surely that is understandable? Wouldn't a woman be allowed to ask about companies that were more open to hiring females? Or what about a Christian asking about companies that are more "Christian" friendly?

The OP didn't post and say "I'm queer and I'm here, c'mon all you big boys time to saddle up and play Pony Express with me!"

He asked simple questions. And he got a lot of garbage tossed at him.

Now it's well known that I do not approve of homosexuality, that I in fact believe it to be sin. But by jingies, it doesn't mean I get to insult others and treat them like they're dirt under my feet.

I really do not understand WHY people have to come onto a thread that was CLEARLY titled "gay" and act like they had that thread shoved down their throats.
