I'm looking for a flatbed company that will lease purchase me a 2016 - 2019 Peterbilt 579. Auto preferred but will drive a 10 speed if available. No more than $700 - $750 week truck payment. At least 70% of weekly gross, 100% fuel surcharge and accessorial fees (tarp, multiple stops, detention).

Does anyone know of such a place?
    Thanks in advance.

Edit: I forgot to mention. None of this "drive for us for 3 months as a company driver first so we can make sure you yada yada" b.s.
I'm experienced and ready to work.

Have you researched Peterbilt trucks and the problems with PACCAR products, especially for the years you mention?

Prime is the only one I can think of, but, I have zero knowledge of their pay package.

I didn't have much issue out of that year range when I was driving with TMC. Maybe I got lucky or they were just exceptional at maintaining their trucks idk. Prime wants $1,000 week or more + over $10,000 money down for a late model Peterbilt.

Lot of emissions/DPF issues, through that time period.

Have you thought about buying a truck, outright? Or, going through PACLease? You can rent/lease a flatbed, as well.

Yes I thought of renting a truck and seen an advertisement for TPine Leasing. Their advertisement claims new truck rental all maintenance covered for .25 cents a mile. Turn truck in and get new one every year.
I called their phone number and a Jabeeb from Qatar answered.
I knew it was too good to be true!

    What's this?
Are you talking about just the trailer or an entire truck? If entire truck, do you names of any companies that do this? I would like to know more about this please.

You can go to your favorite dealer, for whatever brand of truck, and lease from the manufacturer. Now, I’m not a CPA, so I can’t say if it’s the right thing to do. Also, I’m not an O/O, so I can’t say it’s the right thing to do. I just know, you can lease a truck, pay whatever the amount is, and every aspect of the truck is covered by the manufacturer. You can get a new truck, every year. If it breaks down, they’re obligated to provide a loaner. You’ll have a fixed monthly expense. I’d strongly suggest thoroughly researching this option, with every trucking-specific professional you can, before moving forward.

Essentially, it’s just like a lease from Penske, Ryder, or whoever, except it’s from the manufacturer. However, I believe, the equipment will be better cared for, if leased from the manufacturer.

See my above response about the truck.

There are countless trailer rental/leasing companies around the USA. Just search.

But literally everywhere you go, every conversation around this online and in person from folks in the industry, say absolutely stay away from leasing trucks. It's all a scam. Even the subsection on this website about leasing is majority of folks saying, "DON'T LEASE."

So I guess I am a little confused as to what is true on this topic.

DSV Road trans out of missoula montana is what you are looking for... LP program. with all peterbilt 579 now mostly automatics now i think.... i went thru their lease purchase program couple years ago and was succesful with it...

75% of linehaul and 100% accesorial pay... find your own freight.. truckstop loadboard and build relationships inside the company with inhouse dispatch and agents...

i would recommend finding a truck on your own and then leasing on with them as a an O/OP instead... it will be a bit easier

they dont hold your hand ... you need to be on your game and a hustler at all times to be succesful with it..

They SAY “Don’t Lease-Purchase”. This is entering a contract with a company where you’re responsible for every single expense, pay way more per week than one should be, and have no control or ownership of the truck.

Leasing from a manufacturer is simply renting a truck from the manufacturer. You pay a flat amount, pay for the fuel, they take care of the rest. It’s just like leasing an automobile.
