White text in orange banner

Am I the only one that has trouble reading the mile information in the banner in night mode. I don’t understand the orange banner with white font. Black would stand out in the orange.

Yeah, impossible to read at night. Let’s change that to something with more contrast or make it configurable.

I noticed in a screenshot you posted on another thread that the orange banner did indeed have black font on the orange background for the mile information etc. Is this an update that is already out or in beta or what? What is the latest update available on the Apple apps store? I echo what the others said about the need to get that change out.

 

Hello, all newer application versions should display black banner text during dark mode now. Please ensure your phone is not set to "light mode", it is possible the device is forcing light mode even if dark mode is set within the application. I wrote to them several times about this. They don't care. My banner was yellow with white letters. What genius came up with that?

 

In dark mode, the banner is orange with black text. If you'd like black text, switch to dark mode by following these steps: Menu > Display > Dark. If this doesn't work or you experience a different issue, please email support@hammerapp.com with the Hammer version installed, along with your device's make and model, so we can assist further.
