Maybe we need one more question on the job app: Do you feel it is ok to buy things that you know are "stolen " property?

Actually I think lost trucker's name is very apt. There is no point in trying to change his mind. He is all about me ME ME. And he just likes to rag about it.
He obviously doesn't have any ethics. And he is not bright enough to realize that when you steal something, in the long run it drives the prices up for everybody. And then he wonders why others don't "mind their own business."
What a piece of work!
This will be my last post to him, no matter what he says. He just isn't worth messing with.jtrnr1951, lostNfound and ronin Thank this. -
1) My POS is MINE
2)Never worked at a food fast joint
3)and what would you do if you did see me at the truckstop.............nothin
4)and if another L/O or O/O wants to sell fuel off his card then yes I will buy it
The more I thought about your little "rookie status"and your "real drivers" remark it made me realize you must be very narrow minded and self conscious and feel threatened by a "rookie" hence the name calling. If I understand the fuel tax issue (which I don't) that driver paid the fuel taxes on it and it actually hurts me by not claiming it at the end of the quarter thus owing more in fuel taxes for that state since I havent showed buying any fuel in that state but yet had driven in that state?? By the way I love your little Bible Quote but try living by what you quote please and re-read John 8:7.Last edited: Feb 21, 2010

More name calling from MR BIG DON i see,and yes I am all about ME ME ME. I have plenty of ethics and morals it's just a matter of do i want to use them at that particular time.
Now let me get this straight, me buying fuel from another L/O or O/O off his fuel card drives fuel prices up???? I thought supply and demand did that, but oh well you are the one with all the answers. -
You are the first person to actually be "reasonable" about this without the name calling and threats. I have said the whole time that I know it isn't the right thing to do, however the comments of running and telling on somebody really peeved me. Now that little thing you are talking about called "Karma" well I know what goes around comes around and I have been at both ends of it and I know it catches up with you in the end. -
I have heard multiple times guys on the CB trying to sell fuel. I would think if and when this is happening an honest person should figure out who is selling the fuel and then report them to their company.
I gotta say, if I ever catch somebody pulling fuel from my tanks there will be an ### whooping of epic proportions. I am willing to do 30 days in jail over that deal its not a problem!ronin Thanks this. -
Which my question is why run and tell, how does it affect you? If you catch someone siphoning your tanks then hey that's fair game do as you want with them I was only talking about buying fuel for a $1 a gallon not siphoning out of tanks. -
Yea it does have an off and on switch. It just really depends on if I need fuel at the time or not. -
First, You will NEVER hear from a driver that his life is good or perfect.
Second, once he become a thief, he will always be a thief until someone stops him.
Third, he start because he is hungry, continues and steal more, because he needs some clothes. After that he wants a new car, go somewhere for holidays, buy a new house... If not stopped, he will end up with greater salary than your own (addressing to managers).
So, there is no excuse for stealing!
