CFI is ok; pretty good company to get started with.
Hope you keep us posted on how you and your wife are doing in the new career.

so for the update with cfi they called me twice a week to confirm i was going. today they called and said i have to be there friday and will send me the bus ticket. 10 mins after that call they called again and said sorry we can’t hire south of orlando. such a let down. i also put in my 2 weeks notice at my current job for this and luckily they didn’t want me to leave so i still have a job.

Try trans am I know they hired a new driver with the minimum amount of class that sage offered he was hired at trans am they had him do a week of training and they handed him the keys to a rig.

I heard TransAm is the trash of companies out there, with little training, 1 week of training wouldnt be bad for me cause I'd like to get my own truck as fast as possible but if the pay wasn't garbage, $0.33 CPM? If they had $0.47 to start, I would consider them, but $0.33 is less than freaking minimum wage...

Prime Refrigerated is decent and the pay is good.
When you move to Texas, you won't have to change companies and can stay with Prime Refrigerated.
I think Prime has terminals in Pierson. FL and Miami, FL

Yeah, but I heard you stay with a trainer for a least three months on the road. I don't think I could do that, I like my space, that's why I don't think I can do a team too.
