I'm kinda confused. Does this say I will only make 1k for six months no matter what? I was told repeatedly there was a floor of 1k and anything over was mine.

    Wow is that poorly worded

But what it means is that if you earn over 1000 dollars in the one week period , your pay will not be subsidized by the afore mentioned program.
So for example if you earn 1400 dollars you will get it , or a least whats left after taxes and whatnot
They are not capping your pay

    ducnut and Moosetek13 Thank this.

That is as straight forward as it gets.

Read it again. It is self explanatory.

    (2) Accept all work as directed.
    That is my red flag.

That means you are being forced dispatched with no say on a load you have to accept to meet the requirement.

    Do not take that deal.
You can make the same money with your options intact.
And by options I mean Mac 9, and the options it provides.

Do not go for a promise of a minimum pay at the expense of your safety and comfort.
    That is a sucker's deal.

    ducnut Thanks this.

Seems pretty simple to me, and I'm an idiot.

You're guaranteed $1000 a week if you meet the conditions. Anything over $1000 is yours. So you're not subsidizing the off weeks where you'd make say $900.

I've heard of some companies with a guarantee of $1000, but if anytime you actually earn less than the guarantee, the difference is labeled as an advance, and you pay it back when you earn over the guarantee. So if you have guarantee of $1000, and you only earn 850, they advance 150 until you have a week that you make over 1000. Then they take their advance back, while guaranteeing you still get 1000
