Bumper is chilling at…….Cardinal Logistics.

Thankfully our home is well insulated and we are quite warm. We canceled our trip to Virginia though. Son has a dead heater at home and its just too cold for us seniored citizens...

 

Hmmmm I got a letter from Cardinal wanting to know if I wanted to transfer my life insurance now that I am a Part Time employee......my boss never gives up hope......LOL

 

Now all you guys out West dont hate me, but, it sure is alot nicer to watch all of the You Tube videos about the big wrecks and snow in Colorado and Kansas while I am sitting at home warm and dry. I really dont miss sitting in it or having some warm and cozy dispatcher telling me I have to keep going.....@JohnBoy you need to hurry up and retire. This is pretty good duty!!

 

So here I was yesterday....sitting in the car.....fat dumb and happy....waiting for the CFO to do some banking business....and my phone rings. Its my old boss Ray.....hey Mister Tom...ready to come back yet?? I LOL and he said he was serious. He said that I am still on the books as a part time driver and if I wanted to make some extra money he would set me up with a truck in Old Castle TN. I could work any day I wanted to. No minimums. One a week, two a month he didnt care. So Im thinking about it. My terms, my schedule....only go from basically home to Shelbyville, spend the night and come back and drop a trailer in Old Castle the next day and go home until I want to do it again.....
