As an EV owner I will say WY is dead solid correct in their plan. If it does not make business sense then don't do it.

Why Wyoming won't build Biden's EV chargers

The 50 mile rule is a fricken farce. Common societal practice today is to look at the 100 mile mark for most services because of the reasons mentioned in the story. Consumers have pushed EV manufacturers to hit the goal of 200 miles of range on a full pack. Latest generation vehicles are hitting that number. Biden and his Bureaucrats need to put their agenda on hold till they readdress it for practicality and address it's shortsightedness as Wyoming has pointed out about not sponsoring chargers where the travelers need them.
