I’m doing a 34 because I was supposed to have a load tomorrow, but now they’re saying all of it might not be ready. I imagine I’ll be here another day or so if our load falls thru and they have to find something for me. This happened to me last October and I they paid me to bounce out of here up to Denver to pick up a customer load because there was jack squat in Phoenix that paid anything. When stuff works it works good, when something happens it can suck a little. At least the weather is good.

I saw at least two loads on DAT paying $2.00 a mile from southern UT or CA and going to MI or IL. It's not really surprising that it'd be harder to find a load in a down market in that area, unless you've only been doing flatbed for like a year...

The good news is produce season is coming up, so you could try to grab a reefer and ride the wave.

Next time take a screenshot for proof.
$1.40 mile loads going east have been flying off the board.

$2 MAYBE for oversize load that's about it.

48k tarp load in the middle of nowhere for $2 a mile.

How many trucks out there in Panguitch?

    Yeah real appealing.
Tarp and mountains with a heavy load.
Likely will need to find a truck from Salt Lake or Vegas to deadhead 250 miles there.

It's pretty sad that we're at the point of celebrating finding $2 a mile loads.

After my 34 in Phoenix I ended up loading 2270 pounds in Chandler coming up to Denver just to get out of town. I took the opportunity to run across 60 and through the Salt River canyon since I was light. It was my first time going through the area. Nice enjoyable ride with no weight in the trailer.

Then today I had snow from Santa Fe all the way into CO, not so much fun with no weight in the trailer. Lol. Tomorrow after I deliver I have a drop and hook back to MN and then a drop and hook on Sunday. Didn’t turn out too bad after things went sideways in Phoenix.

Well 150 mile radius of Phoenix is basically just Phoenix and Tucson.. There is no other big cities in that radius. You won't find anything until u do 400 mile or more radius because then ur in Cali at that point.
