Truck Load Rates Halt 8 Week Slide 2.0

Had this in my email in case anyone is looking for one.

 

If you have some dedicated people you regularly haul for.. You may tell the new broker that is reluctant to work with you, you can give a reference.. I had a couple brokers do that to me as well, say they couldnt work with me because i had no inspections..i said "ma'am with all due respect its in my best interest to avoid inspections at all times because its nothing more than a money grab... If you dont believe who i say i am and what i can do for you, i can provide you multiple references that will attest to working with my company" it has worked for me everytime that conversation has come up.. Well now i have my 1st inspection. So havent had that converaation since.. Well i guess i havent hauled any loads since lol Got it in december .

 

I’ve done that. I just had one tell me I’ve only hauled one load for them. I disagreed, as I know it’s been at least a dozen or more. The bottom line is, longevity means nothing. Unless it’s someone you work for regularly, you’re only as good as your last performance.

 

Some people are still making money out there and make it look easy

He might be getting $11 a mile but I've had that guys wife 11 times last night

 

Don't know what to say other than if a guy is really making that on the spot market right now, why is he talking about it on the internet and putting info of what lanes he's running. Seems a bit dumb to me

 

The people in this world that are making the most money are not stupid enough to tell everyone how they do it.

 

Just buy this class and sit back and watch the money roll in.

 

What does everybody think the rates will be for the Salinas, Ca Season to Texas? Produce...
