Take a breath little lady.... That's no way for a self proclaimed "successful owner operator" to act.....

Ehh, biz advice on youtube is bs, but i find some specific people have good info, or at the least give me a good place to start on tackling mechanical problems i havent done before.

Had wanted to rebuild an engine for a long time, when my subaru was due, found a good full teardown and rebuild on youtube that gave me the confidence i could do it. I did it over a month. That gave me a greater knowledge base of how an engine works

Why am i getting Jcrack vibes off thst muzz guy.....anywho. as towards info otheres already covered the main points. But if you looks through this and other forums like this you will find a lot of good info.

And take my advice here mate listen to them. I am literally a 5th generation trucker. Did a ####load of research, grew uo around trucks, talked to people for years and i STILL like a MORON decided it gave me the knowledge i needed to ignore the advice on not getting a paccar motor. Now in my 3rd year the ONLY #### reason i am still in business is i trolled through these forums and more or less soaked up as much info from every source as i could find and combined it with my own experince and family knowledge and contacts. and i STILL regret owning a paccar. Shoulda got the ####ing western star with a cummins or that pretty international lonestar but nooooo i knew better and the shiny high MPG big sleeper and my familys poor history with cummins made me think i knew better....yea i asked for what i got all my whineing aside. These "old timers" are old timers for a #### reason.

Also for the record paccars are junk....seriously i need to get a mod to change my tag to "Loather of the MX13" or something.....
