I find it hard to take a lot of what's on Youtube seriously. Most info I'm looking for when I browse could probably be contained in a sub-2 minute video. Yet I always seem to have to skip through 15 minutes of ads, shameless self promotion and other crap to get the info I need.

 

Youre not wrong, update on an old aphorism;
99% of youtube is crap... because 99% of EVERYTHING is crap.

Though the ads thing, i have enough essentially podcasts i listen to on youtube, that its WELL worth my 10$ a month to avoid ads, (and also so my almost 12 year old isnt exposed to ads)

I was just about to comment on how mean these guys are, but you beat me to it. But we were asleep, so that's not really fair.
